The Elsworth Comb Trailer Contractor Model is designed to make transporting your header front from paddock to paddock simple and time efficient. The heavy duty designed trailer along with the four adjustable cradles makes unloading and loading the header front a straight forward operation.
The two middle cradles have been designed so that when the front is taken off the header it unhooks every time the same way because of the guides at the bottom of the two middle cradles. This makes sure that the front is placed on the two middle cradles the same way every time, thereby stopping the front from moving forward or back once on the trailer when transported. The front then can be chained down also to these to cradles.
The cradles are made from heavy duty 150 x 75 Channel with large pads to support the front in four critical places underneath the main sections where the front is constructed. The outside cradles are the exact same material as the two main middle cradles. The four cradles have multiple adjustments at the base and the tip providing precise fitting to the design of the front.
The Elsworth comb trailer with its tandem roller rocker springs front and rear and higher road clearance gives the front a far smoother ride when transported.
The Elsworth comb trailer has been design to fit either a 35ft or 40ft front, which provides the operator long trailer life should they choose to upgrade from a 35ft to 40ft front when changing over headers.
The Standard Comb Trailers is a trailing machine that attaches to any 4 x 3 / 4 x 3 square baler, which allows baler operator to stack one large square on top of another whilst baling. The Standard Comb Trailers is simple to attach to any 4 x 3 or 3 x3 square baler, simply remove the balers rear table, attach the dual stacker towbar to the baler. Then the stacker tray attaches to the towbar followed by the dual stacker.
